Parade Volunteers

Participate this year in the H-E-B Holiday Parade as one of the thousands of volunteers who play a vital role in bringing the parade to life.

(Volunteers must be at least 16 years old)

When and Where

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2008
Shift Time: 6:00am – 10:00am
Streets of Downtown Houston

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Ushers
  • Banner or Balloon Carrier
  • Admission Ticket Takers
  • Sponsor Area
  • Costume Character (mandatory training, see below)
  • Parade Marshal (mandatory training, see below)
  • Setup Help (11/26 evening)
The mandatory training for all parade marshals and costume characters is scheduled for:

November 5th or 6th (you need only attend one session) at 6:00pm at the Budweiser Facility off I-10 and Washington Ave. 7777 Washington Ave., Houston 77007. We will meet in the second floor Hospitality Room.
